How to take card payments

Card payment instructions:

To take a card payment over the phone – enter the price press enter then press menu then it will ask for customers 16 digit card number type that in then press enter it will then as for the expiry date type that in 4 digit format eg (0421) then it will connect for a second or 2 then it will ask if customer is present press no which is the F1 button on card reader it shows this on the screen above the button you need to press, then it will ask for the numbers from the customers postcode that the card is registered to eg NE11 0PZ you would only enter 110 then it asks for the door number, type then in then press enter again – then it will give you an auth code if it has gone through, or say declined or void it it has not, then press enter, it will print receipt then press enter again for the  other part of receipt, then put booking id on the receipt and put it in the white envelope.
